Description of the Office

The City Social Welfare and Development Department of San Juan City is the local agency mandated by the National Government to lead in the implementation and coordination of social welfare and development policies and programs for the disadvantaged individuals, families and communities.

Office Schedule

The City Social Welfare and Development Department is open from Monday to Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., with no noon breaks.

Mission Statement

To provide social welfare programs and services that will help in poverty alleviation to disadvantaged residents of San Juan. To provide accessible services and opportunities under good governance for wholesome quality of life for San Juan residents.

Vision Statement

A City where the disadvantaged individuals, families and communities are empowered and achieved improved quality of life.
