Description of the Office

Civil Registration is the continuous, permanent, compulsory recording of the occurrence and characteristics of vital events as these have been defined and as provided through decree or regulation, in accordance with the legal requirements in each country. It is done primarily for the value of these important records as legal documents, and secondary for their usefulness are source of statistics The recording in the corresponding register of birth, death marriage, court decree and other legal instrument affecting the civil status of a person is the responsibility of the City Civil Registrar of the place where the event occurred or where the decree was issued.

Office Schedule

The City Civil Registry is open from Monday to Friday, 7:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., with no noon breaks.
